One Red, Three Slices

One Red, Three Slices, 6" x 6" oil on panel
More fruit painting!  Truth is I love painting fruit, and still life has always interested me.  Its a bit like "back to painting basics" working with more formal concerns.

One Yellow, Three Orange

One Yellow, Three Orange, 6" x 6" oil on canvas
This is one of my still life studies from my recent "A Painting a Day" class in Sedona.  Looks simple but i discovered a lot about value.  Not to mention enjoying the beauty of the high desert

"Wondering and Wondering"

"Wondering and Wondering"
30" x 30"
2008
I did this painting in Jan..usually i cant stand the thought of painting anything to do with blue and water at that time of year and crave colour..that is when i usually do my florals. I would like to do more but seems the seascapes are the sellers at the moment..and one has to eat.
