Studio tent,  we finally found the right place for the green umbrella..we had it all over the yard..but looks best as an entrance to the studio.  Its been HOT HOT ..and the tents is a little toasty mid day.  My roomates son build me 5 very unique display easels from a piece of maple on the beach..they are beautiful, each one different.

Painting in progress!

I have two easels i work on kind of at the same time, one for minis and the other for larger work.  Though my switch from acrylic to oil, gets confusing, I am still doing the larger pieces in acrylic first, but yesterday got my brushes mixed up..Oil and water do not mix..

Finally reorganized my studio..wondered why i was having trouble getting going..it is a very small space so setting up is important.  I am always so impatient to get painting, but beginning to realize the importance of proper set up.  I like the having everything white as colour really pops, and kind of replicates the blank white canvas.."ready for something"!
