This painting I did last summer..its been interesting to look again at paintings done in the past ..and since I am doing some other similar paintings I sometimes like to look at how I solved painting problems in the past, even though every painting no matter how seemingly similar has its own problems and delights..i dont know how people who copy other painters can do it, i cant even copy myself.

Another on my river series, from my New Zealand travels, the light there is fanastic!, and every where is a open view, quite different from where I live here on the northwest coast, which is beautiful also, but different, darker or more introverted or something
