The second of the dune series, though i have a larger one in the works.  Love the strong shadows and simple shapes.  We did an evening walk out on the dunes, It was pretty magical and strange.   I have so many photos i dont know which to paint first.!  What a chance to have such fine weather at Christmas on the coast.

The first dune painting.  I know there will be more. ..as i am pretty entranced by them.   I suppose in the same way that i can watch water and waves for hours at at time.  There is an elegance I think in the waves, and how they move, and in the grasses that grow out of the dunes, and how the shadows are.
