This painting was a challenge for all kinds of reasons..one I had a very short time to complete a big painting in order to get it to my dealer in Friday Harbour! And my painting style is shifting and so I wasnt sure about the results..I really used a lot of palette knife..i guess after a year of getting tighter and more refined in my painting..i am wanting to break out and use more texture and roughness..inspired by a very beautiful place in New Zealand, on my way to Able Tasman Park.
