Bluffs, Crimson

Bluffs, Crimson, 30" x 36" acrylic and oil on canvas
This painting is one that i did last year and just recently put in on my wall in the dining room.  Its one that i like parts of but wasnt quite "working".  I finally figured out that i needed to work on the middle/forground area.    Sometimes by studying a painting too studiously its hard to solve a problem, while just casually glancing without trying..the answer just reveals itself.  (works great if you dont have a deadline) ha ha

it's easy to get lost in that forest of flowers in the foreground. a beautiful piece as well as the clouds in the previous post.
