Sandpiper Invitation, 6" x 6", oil on panel
This is such a familiar view to me, and one of my favorites. Walking down Sandpiper Road hill towards the beach one can see the sea beckoning.But I cant tell which I prefer: the view most familiar OR the newly discovered?! I suppose to have both. Really though its about seeing, one can look at the same thing, view, person day after day and suddendly see something else..nuanced, similar but not.
