I love the blues and greens of New Zealand, this one was painted from a photo taken on

a trip in 2007.

I am supposed to be painting for my summer shows on Hornby and Vancouver Island, but had to paint this little piece.  NZ has such lovely glimpses of the sea.  This is taken from behind the town of Russell.  I dont know what those fluff ball like flowers on long stems are called, but they are lovely to see, their long stems bending in the wind.
