I shall have to rephotograph this as it lacks the spark of the original. I have been asked in the past why i chose to do a painting in two panels? I think its because of the subject matter of the sea..it really just goes on and on..one could just keep adding panels. ! Also it sets up an interested formal problem and seems to suit simple compositions
