Wish I was looking at this I mean actually standing on the sand on a day with such blue!  Pretty greyish weather here in Portland still.

This painting was inspired by a week spent at Byron Bay Australia last year. The beach was incredible and i walked it every day waiting for the weather to change. It rained every day and nite for 5 days, and i wondered why i had left the rainy coast of Vancouver Island to come to Australia ! Anyway, when the sun finally started to shine the light was fantastic and worth the wait.
