This piece i orginally started in acrylic and worked into it with oil..i find the acrylic layering underneath especially in the sand adds a complexity to the painting (hard to see in this photo)

I was rather pleased with this painting..though have been asked as to the absence of logs..i prefer a kind of minimilism to enhance that feeling of open expanse on the edge of the sand and looking out to sea.
