Ice Cream Sky and photos from my trip

I am busy finishing up paintings left behind unfinished, its kind of like discovering food prepared in the fridge, just waiting to be made into something marvelous, well that is one way to look at it.

It was actually a horrible gloomy day, but a little photoshop and who could guess??! I may paint this.

Sandbars and Tidal Pools
This is a piece i started last year in acrylic and just reworked a little with some oil..Its a bit more abstracted than my usual paintings. I am enamoured with oil at the moment, It just took a few swipes of the brush to bring this painting to where i wanted it, after working it so hard in acrylic ..though wish i wasnt so affected by thinners and toxic mediums..ugh!
