Snow on the back porch, Georgia O'Keefe arrangement
I will be away for my show in Victoria for a week or so, paintings all framed, mostly boxed up, and i keep wandering in to my studio looking at the canvas's partially completed and left behind, awaiting my return.   My head is full of painting ideas for the upcoming spring/summer.  But for now a rest from painting is needed.

Neighbourhood, Fallen Blossoms

Neighbourhood, Fallen Blossoms, 24" x 20", oil on canvas
My mini paintings have fallen by the wayside temporarily, as i had two larger pieces to complete before taking some time off for Holidays!  This new series, featuring sidewalks, boulevards, gardens and trees will be in my upcoming show at Dales Gallery in Victoria BC, in March.  I will also be including some larger sea & sky scapes.  And so i think the luscious colour and blossoms will be a nice intro to spring!  Check out Dales Gallery at http://www.dalesgallery.ca/
