Hawaii, Glimpse, 6" x 6", oil on panel, $125.00 + 10.00 s/hThis is a repeat of a posting. I tweaked the painting a bit, and rephotographed it as there was a small window of sunshine today.

Our view from the place we stayed on the "Big" Island last January; the sea glimpsed from the window, framed by sumptuous Hawaiian flowers. It was beautiful.

I went to Hawaii last for year for the first time, a bit "wowed" by the sumptuous vibrant colour and shapes of plants and flowers. Though i wasnt too sure about painting a palm tree! so foreign. The place we stayed had the lovelist of views, just glimpses of the ocean and a wonderful garden framing the views.
