"Mind I love"
36" x 36" sold
This painting is about 4 years old I think and titled after a Katherine Mansfield poem about surprise beauty when you dont expect it..I like the abstraction of it..and havent quite gotten around to taking pics of my latest paintings so am digging into the archive .. sometimes i like the older ones better! It is on the wall of my wonderful friend Elke in her little massage studio in the woods.

Looking for Answers
36" x 48"
Time to upload a pond painting..I only do a few a year ..but wish i had more time to explore this subject matter. Looking into ponds always brings to my mind the desire to reflect..they are quite an introverted subject matter as opposed to the open seascapes which i normally paint. I think its like looking for answers in the mirror or something..and when painting ponds the reflections in the water are often indistinguishable from the surroundings which sets up a challenge.
