Tribune Bay Blue
12" x 12"
acrylic on canvas
As I sit by the toasty fire looking at this scene remembering the blissful day in late august when the photo reference for this painting was taken, riding our bikes to the meadow behind Tribune to pick blackberries and then a sunbathe on the beach!  Pretty blissful.  Summer so swift though mellow autum has its beauty and charm.
I am experimenting with new blog layout..any comments would be appreciated!

"Walks on the Sand"

Walks on the Sand

6" x 6"
oil on panel

What is it about walking on the beach that is so appealing?  I think its the chance to clear the mind, the sea air, constant flow of the tide and forever feeling of the horizon is one of the most relaxing things..like a good massage!
